Lean-To cottage is a cozy cottage part of Lookout Inn's many. It's secluded from the main touristy places, located at the end of Brooklin,ME. The place has a rustic charm with fantastic views close by. The hosts were really helpful. We (party of 3) had a great time there. If given a chance, would love to stay there again!

My fiancée and I decided to do a road trip to see New England and stayed at the Lookout. We chose the location based on its proximity to Acadia National Park, which was an amazing experience itself. The Lookout was quiet, charming, and scenic. We saw the most beautiful sunrise we have ever seen while having breakfast in their dining room. Butch and the staff were very welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping at if you are in that part of Maine.

Families love The Lookout ...

Wonderful, clean beach house literally steps to the beautiful Maine shore and a nice 50 minute drive to Acadia Natl Park. Butch was a hands off host- and we appreciated that- but was available if necessary. The home was stocked with towels and toiletries and the lack of cable and Internet was a welcome respite from real life. This is a perfect spot for exploring the Maine cost and extremely kid friendly. We took our little ones and they never ran out of things to explore around the house.

Kind words, kind people!

I loved “The Lookout”. It was a great house/Inn! I would’ve loved to know the history of the house, seems it may have a cool story. Breakfast overlooking the water was awesome. It was a beautiful view and the breakfast was so yummy! Eggs, bacon, pancakes, and coffee!!! I also liked my room a lot, it also had a great view!
